The Pain Clinic
The Pain management clinic at the Joint clinic is run by Dr. Mahesh Chaudhari, Consultant, Pain management & Anaesthesia. A written referral from your general practitioner or from a fellow consultant is normally required before the Pain Management Consultant can see you.
Referrals from other health professionals such as physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors are also acceptable; however your general practitioner will be kept informed. This is for your own protection. Your pain will be assessed and a treatment plan discussed with you; the plan will be sent to your general practitioner or to your referring consultant.
The aim of the Clinic is to reduce your level of pain, to restore your function and to improve your sense of well being.
