Susan has a background in strategy and business development. She has been Practice Manager at the Joint Clinic since its inception in 2003. In addition to working at the Joint Clinic she runs a medical software company.
Practice Manager
Sue Maguire
Sue qualified as a medical secretary in 1980 at Solihull College of Technology. She has worked in a variety of medical specialities in hospitals, including being David Selvey’s secretary for three years, as well as spending periods of time as a PA in industry. In 2003 she qualified in First Line Management and is a member of the Institute of Management, working briefly in this field in the NHS before joining the Joint Clinic.
Senior Medical Secretary
Angie Chambers
Angie re-trained and qualified as a medical secretary in 1994, having previously worked as a State Enrolled Nurse. She is extremely experienced having worked as Practice Manager in General Practice and as a Consultant Secretary in various specialities including surgery, urology and cancer services.
Patient Accounts Administrator
Julia Talbot
Julia qualified as a Medical Secretary in 1989 and then went on to work for a Merchant Bank. After having her family she became self-employed doing a wide variety of jobs ranging from driving Doctors at Worcester Races to doing Farm Secretarial work. She is a keen tennis player and skier. Julia joined the Joint Clinic in October 2005 and has since taken over operating the patients accounts department".
